Storm Damage – Venice Beach

Storm damage occurred at this Venice Beach home when heavy thunderstorms carrying high winds passed through the area. Rainwater was forced through the skylight and accumulated on top of the drywall ceiling. When the weight became too much, the ceiling fell to the floor. SERVPRO was called in to remediate the water damage and repair the skylight. The first order of business was to remove the soaked ceiling drywall and dispose of it. We the set up industrial air movers and dehumidifiers to dry the exposed ceiling area and the affected walls. Once all the water damage had been dried, we replaced the damaged drywall and the ceiling drywall.
